Amusingly (or not) I nearly added a coda. Something about knowing I was back in London when I sniffed the distinct smell of urine while walking through Charing Cross underground station.

Arse! I picked up two really nice Iberico pork chops at Leech & Sons today. I had planned to do them (in a honey and gin marinade) with Parmentier potatoes...


...except I’ve just thrown the half cooked Parmentier potatoes all over the kitchen floor.

So it’s back to Steamed Anya potatoes with lovage butter.

After an absence, I’m surfacing briefly. I’m now a nurse! A student nurse, but I’ve been assured that counts so I have to behave myself in future. I’m also having to learn academic writing, this is the most informal thing I’ve written for a few weeks!

Aw, thanks guys, I’m not sure I’m worthy of admiration though. Thanks for the offer of help with academic writing, hopefully I will get better with practice.

Finding sources seems to be the tricky part at the moment. I’m not used to people demanding I find sources for all my statements. A bit like a few people I could name in cc politics. ‘Nobbers!’, theclaud(2017 maybe)

Yeah I need to learn referencing too...
